L’UNESCO a le plaisir de vous informer que les candidatures sont ouvertes pour l’édition 2026 du Prix UNESCO Roi Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa pour l’utilisation des technologies de l’information et de la communication dans l’éducation.

L’édition de cette année du Prix sera dédié au thème : « Réinventer la créativité et la pensée critique avec l’intelligence artificielle », récompensant les projets qui démontrent comment, dans divers contextes, les enseignants et les apprenants utilisent les systèmes d’IA tout en préservant leurs capacités de raisonnement, de discernement et d’imagination.

Deux projets seront sélectionnés, et chaque lauréat recevra US $25,000 et une reconnaissance internationale lors d’une cérémonie de remise des prix.

Nous invitons les ONG en partenariat officiel avec l’UNESCO à faire circuler cet appel à candidatures, ainsi qu’à nommer des candidats pour le Prix, contribuant à une plus grande diversité de projets. Chaque organisation peut présenter jusqu’à trois candidats. 

  • Le processus de nomination se déroule via une plate-forme en ligne
  • Un candidat peut demander l’accès au formulaire de candidature via ce lien : www.unesco.org/ict-ed-prize/register  
  • La date limite de dépôt des candidatures, rédigées en anglais ou en français et accompagnées d’une lettre de recommandation émise par une ONG partenaire officielle de l’UNESCO, a été reportée par rapport à la date initialement prévue du 8 mai 2026. Les candidatures doivent désormais être soumises via la plateforme en ligne avant le 29 mai 2026 (23h59, HAEC).

Call for nominations: 2026 UNESCO ICT in Education Prize.

UNESCO is pleased to inform you that nominations are open for the 2026 edition of the UNESCO King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa Prize for the Use of Information and Communication Technologies in Education.

This year’s edition of the Prize will focus on the theme “Reimagining creativity and critical thinking with artificial intelligence”, rewarding projects that demonstrate how, across diverse contexts, teachers and learners are engaging with AI systems in ways that preserve their capacity for reasoning, discernment and imagination.

Two projects will be selected, and each laureate will receive USD 25,000 and international recognition during an award ceremony. 

We invite NGOs in official partnership with UNESCO to circulate this call for nominations, as well as to submit candidates for the Prize, thus contributing to a greater diversity of projects. Each organization can submit up to three candidates.

  • The nomination process takes place via an online platform
  • An applicant can request access to the online platform here: http://www.unesco.org/ict-ed-prize/register
  • The application, in English or French and together with a nomination letter issued by an NGO in official partnership with UNESCO, has been extended from its original deadline of 8 May 2026. Applications should now be submitted via the online platform by 29 May 2026 (23:59, CEST).
